Our Story

It was love at first Charisma Save!


Lisa and Daniel met through mutual friends to play board games and eventually began a Dungeons & Dragons campaign together. With Lisa's Warlock and Daniel as the Dungeon Master, they began their first of many adventurous quests together.


Ever since, the two have bonded over many hikes through forests and mountains, journeys to haunts both local and abroad, and cozy nights spent enjoying mystery novels, horror movies, and escape room games.

Our first official date, having coffee and wandering through the trails behind the Robert Frost homestead.

The land of windmills and cheese! We travelled to Amsterdam. The Hague, as well as the Dutch Theme Park, Efteling. One of our last trips prior to our engagement, and we can't wait to return as a married couple!

For their 3rd year Anniversary, Dann surprised Lisa with a weekend retreat in New Hampshire, returning to their favorite spots. There, Dann proposed at the site of their first date.

The Games We Love!

We first really got to know each other through Dungeons & Dragons. We first started playing together in 2019, and have been in numerous campaigns together, playing with our friends and creating the most epic tales together. Games are certainly a key part of our life together, from Nancy Drew videogames to classic boardgames to too many hours adventuring through Baldur's Gate III.
